a fabulous 9 day celebration of Bath’s most famous resident
– there are tours, lectures, food demonstrations and much more

The farm shops are full of delicious seasonal produce so fill
you baskets with lovely apples from Afton Park on the Isle of
Wight. The 2005 Apple Day Festival is on Saturday and Sunday
24th & 25th September.

Cobnuts are in season now and can be bought form Waitrose. The
Kent Cobnut farmers start shaking the trees from the 20th
of September – they are wonderful to serve after dinner with
cheese.
