Dressing the Table is a unique fundraising event that will inspire anyone who has ever set a table. Fabulous tables will be set by local designers and hostesses creating elegant and distinctive table settings and centrepieces. At the luncheon, guests will view and enjoy the wonderfully decorated tables, hear the talk and have a delicious light lunch with a glass of wine. Michael Beaumont will talk on "The Flotsam of History Washed up in the English Country House" - how history influenced the accumulation of artefacts in English country houses. Michael was born in Lepe and he knows the Island very well. He was sailing correspondent for Country Life and worked at The National Trust Head Office for 30 years.
12 pm £35.00 per person
A “First Hour, First Viewing” is offered at 11 am with coffee and biscuits at and additional charge of £5.00 per person. (This is for luncheon guests only and is strictly limited)
