Things to do and buy this March:

Homes and Gardens

April Issue of Homes and Gardens - my new column, Culinary Queries

Dye Easter Eggs - Print hard boiled eater eggs with a wax crayon then
dye. The dye only sticks to the un waxed bit!

Try a natural dye this year:

To make a reddy/pink colour chop up 1 large re cabbage and cover with
cold water- about 1ltr and 2tablespoons of white distilled vinegar.
Bring it up tot the boil and then simmer for 20-30 minutes. Strain and
cool. Use to dye hard boiled eggs. You can also use onion skins and
black coffee in the same way. Just add vinegar and cook as above.

Buy organic Chocolate Easter Eggs from Duchy Originals and Fortnum and
Mason
they have wonderful eggs in hat boxes that can be shipped
anywhere!
